The venue
A historic venue in the middle of the city
Fira Montjuïc is the older of Fira de Barcelona’s two sites, with halls laid out between Plaça d’Espanya and the slopes of Montjuïc. It hosts fashion weeks, specialist trade fairs, product launches and congresses that prefer a central location.
Because it sits in the city, traffic around Plaça d’Espanya is part of daily life, and during events the access for cars is organised by the venue. We agree the drop-off point with you before the day and adapt it to the access set for that event.
The route
From the airport, Sants and the city
From either terminal at El Prat the journey takes about 20 minutes without traffic. From Sants station it is a short drive of 5 to 10 minutes, and from most central hotels between 10 and 20 minutes. These times are approximate and depend on traffic, especially at rush hour and at the opening and closing of large events.
At the airport your driver tracks the flight and waits in arrivals with a sign showing your name, with 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time.

Two venues, one plan
Moving between Montjuïc, Gran Via and the city
Some weeks bring events at both Fira sites at once, and teams split their days between them. The two venues are about 10 to 15 minutes apart by road, so a car with driver by the hour or a planned run between them is often simpler than queuing for public transport with bags.
On the last day, many visitors go straight from the halls to the airport or to Sants for the train. We agree a collection time with margin for traffic around Plaça d’Espanya and keep in touch by phone or WhatsApp until you are in the vehicle.
