The route
Airport, Sants and the city centre
Fira Gran Via sits between the airport and Barcelona, so the journey is short: about 15 minutes from either terminal at El Prat and a similar time from Sants station. From the city centre, allow 20 to 30 minutes depending on where you start.
These times are approximate and traffic dependent. In fair weeks the roads around the venue are much busier at opening and closing times, and we plan pickups with that margin built in.
On arrival
Meet and greet at both terminals
Your driver tracks the flight and waits in the arrivals hall of T1 or T2 with a sign showing your name. You have 60 minutes of free waiting from the actual landing time, so baggage reclaim or a delayed flight does not cost extra. If you cannot find the driver, call or message us at once and we connect you.
The price covers the passengers and bags you declare when booking. If you carry stand material, roll-ups or sample cases, tell us so we send a vehicle with enough space.
At the venue
Where we drop you off
Fira Gran Via has more than one entrance, and during large events access for cars is organised by the venue. We agree the drop-off point with you in advance, usually the entrance closest to your hall, and the driver adapts it to the access set up for that event.
For collections at the end of the day, we arrange a meeting point and keep in touch by phone or WhatsApp so your team is not left waiting in the crowd.

- Book well ahead for the big fairs: vehicles and hotels fill early.
- Plan morning arrivals with extra margin before the doors open.
- Ask for a pickup just before or after closing time to avoid the main rush.
- For stand material, tell us the size and number of items so we send a vehicle with enough space.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup, if your plans change.
Public transport or private transfer
An honest comparison
The L9 Sud metro line connects both airport terminals with stations next to Fira Gran Via, and for a single visitor travelling light it is a sensible option. A private transfer is worth it when several people travel together, when you carry luggage or material, when you arrive late at night, or when a meeting starts shortly after landing.

Free with 24 hours or more notice. Between 24 hours and the minimum window (3 hours on normal days, 8 hours on weekends and public holidays) a charge may apply.
