A long weekend with two public holidays
The 2026 edition runs from Saturday 5 to Tuesday 8 December. 6 and 8 December are public holidays in Spain, so many visitors come from other cities by train or plane for the whole weekend. Expect queues at the entrance in the morning and crowded trains at closing time.

How to get there
Metro, train or a private transfer
- Metro L9 Sud to Fira or Europa | Fira, and L10 Sud to Foc, for the North Entrance.
- FGC trains to Europa | Fira from Plaça d’Espanya.
- From Sants station, about 15 minutes by road to the venue.
- From the airport, metro L9 Sud or a private transfer of about 15 minutes.
Families and groups
When a private vehicle makes sense
A family with children, a group of friends in costume, or anyone carrying props and bags for four days finds the metro hard work at closing time. A private vehicle picks you up at the station, the airport or your hotel and drops you near the entrance you choose. Child seats are available on request for a supplement, and children count as passengers.
